Water Damage Contents Restoration

A pipe, an appliance, a roof or a storm. The building dries out, but everything standing in the water has to be dealt with separately, and quickly. That part is ours. CCR is IICRC certified in water.

What happens to your contents

Photographed where it stands

Every item is recorded in place, before it is moved, so you and your adjuster both know what was there and the condition it was in.

Out of the wet

Padded, wrapped, banded and moved to our Vancouver facility, away from the part of the building still being dried.

Cleaned and deodorized

Worked on at our facility rather than in a house that is still damp.

Stored with us

Inventoried and kept together for as long as the repair takes.

Textiles

Upholstery, rugs, carpet and soft goods, each cleaned to suit the fabric.

Back where it belongs

The same crew that took it out brings it back and puts it where it was.

Why it moves fast

Water Does Not Wait

Wet contents left in a wet building are a different problem a week later than they are on day one. Getting them out, documented and into a dry facility is the part of the job that decides how much of it you keep.

Common questions

How quickly do contents need to come out?

Sooner is better, and it is the single biggest factor in how much survives. Porous material that comes out on day one usually cleans up; after a week it is often a mold job instead.

Do you dry the building as well?

Contents are what we do: photographed, inventoried, packed out, cleaned and deodorized at our facility, stored, then put back. CCR is IICRC certified in water.

What happens to clothing and soft furnishings?

They are handled as part of the contents job, with methods suited to the fabric. You deal with CCR for the whole of it.
